We made it to Ft. Bragg a couple of weeks ago. We've been staying with my brother and his family until we have a home to call our own (which we plan to be in by the end of July). My nieces and nephew have been great entertainment for Millie. They get a kick out of making her laugh and smile at them. I'm very impressed that Millie has been so flexible to sleeping and playing here, there and everywhere. She's sleeping with her Uncle here.
The Fromille's came to see us on their way to SC. It was nice to see familiar faces. Although brief, we're glad they got to meet Millie for the first time.
Coincidently, my mom had already made plans to come up last week. She was thrilled to have all of her grands in one place. We toured Fayetteville on our way to an animal farm and spent a day at the pool. Millie did a lot of sleeping, of course.
We began our church tours yesterday as we try to find the equivalent to Seacoast which, by the way, is IMPOSSIBLE. We have to consciously remove Seacoast comparisons from our brains so it doesn't effect our decision to join a Fayetteville church. We haven't found one yet but the search has only just begun. We'll see what next week brings.
Matt starts his residency tomorrow which means we'll have less
and less time with him. Rumor has it, this residency is going to take up most of his day and after-hours (family) time. We've been really spoiled to spend these last couple of months with him. I recommend these type of "extended vacations" to anyone- devoid of the homeless scenerio. Its been nice to have the time off as we wait for the date when reality returns. So until we have a home, Millie and I will be hanging out with the family, mainly poolside (see photo of Millie in her swimsuit given to her by Gma and Gpa D'Amico).
(How cute is she?!)

Yea... it is pretty impossible to find a Seacoast equivalent. It's best just not to compare as you said! I hope you guys find a church you can learn and grow in very soon:)
Is it weird to comment on a post written in my living room with pictures in my house?? Oh well, here goes. :)
We're thrilled you're here, praying you'll find a church soon, mourning the "loss" of Matt tomorrow, and excited about your progress on the housing list!
Millie is so stinking cute! I love her little bathing suit!
Wow, it is so nice to be update! Everyone is so beautiful...it is so sad to be so far away! Sometimes it makes me want to move there. I love the swimsuit, that my kind of girl, get her tan on! She has gotten so big and even more cute! Give all of my nieces and nephew a kiss!
miss you and love u all
We miss you guys a ton! We're really glad to see that Millie is so adaptable. Hey, Josh is doing a wedding in Whiteville, NC on the weekend of July 19th. I don't think that is too far from Fayetteville. We should try to get together for a couple of hours.
