Introducing Baby Benjamin David Morris

Ben was born on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 1:14pm, weighing 8 lbs and 21" long.

We are having another... BOY!!

It is confirmed! Matt and I just had our 22 week ultrasound this afternoon while Mia watched the kiddos. We are having another BOY which really surprised both of us.

Early on, I thought it was a boy because I thought I saw something at my 14 week OB appointment. But the doc simply ignored me (or maybe did not hear me) when I said "are those boy parts?" So I left the office a little confused. Those ultrasounds are pretty hard to read if you don't know what you're looking at.

Case in point---last week, which was 21 weeks, I had to go in for a check up on my blood pressure because it had been low. All my levels were normal this time and again the doc took a look at the baby. This time though she said something like, "do you want to know what you're having?" I said, "Yes. We'll find out next week but if you see something and want to tell me go ahead." So my OB said, "It's a girl!" Of course, I started to cry (because I was happy and excited to have a sister for Millie and another shopping partner.) She printed out the ultrasound picture and everything.

This has been a roller coaster ride of boy, girl, boy but either way, the emotion has been the same: ECSTATIC and GRATEFUL for the blessing of another baby!

Morris Plus Three!

Back to the blogging world as I introduce to you baby #3 growing in my belly. Right now he or she has been baking for 16 weeks. This time around, I am feeling so much more tired and moody. I am showing sooner and bigger than ever. It is all so worth it though. Our whole family is excited. To tell the grandparents we put Camden in a "I'm a big brother" shirt. No one got the message. It even took Aunt Katie a while before finally I just took a picture of Camden and showed everyone how cute he looked. Then they all figured it out! So needless to say, it is not wise to post an important announcement on your kid's shirt.I was only 6 weeks pregnant at the time so we have really waited about a month to tell everyone else. Boy, it is so hard waiting. You would think I would be used to it by now, but no.

Well, here I am today at 16 weeks.

Camden's 2nd birthday

We are a little late blogging this but I did want to mention that we have a new 2 year old in the house! He's the one with the best hair and sweetest laugh. The one who loves to snuggle and wrestle. He's our boy! We love you Camden, forever and ever.

For his birthday, family from Florida and South Carolina came to celebrate with us. He had a cookie cake for his Diego-themed/Football party and cupcakes on his real birthday. YUMMY!

Happy 9th Anniversary to us

I love this man! I think we still are looking good after 9 years of marriage. For our anniversary we left the kids with Yaya and Papa, headed to Calverts and enjoyed lots of laughs and good food as we reminisced about all the memories we've had together.
