Week 37

Baby is due March 24. Mom Morris pulls for an early due date. We'll see. So far, I'm not feeling any Braxton Hicks and the dr will not check any possible dilation unless I ask her to. Maybe tomorrow I will. Enjoy the pic.

Girl's growing up and she's not even here yet!

Time is getting nearer. At 33 weeks (in the pictures) I feel really big but am still loving being pregnant. It's so exciting to think she'll be here before we know it!

Week 29- 82 days to go (give or take) but who's really counting

The holidays are over, 2008 has arrived, and we've started preparing for Little Millie to be here. This weekend my mom and family came to visit. My mom and I shopped for the remaining furniture and accessories for the nursery. Matt and Jim painted the room and put up the chair railing. It looks so great! All we need now is a few more wall decor and the furniture! It should all be completed in the next 8 weeks.

As for Amelia, she is growing .5 lb a week between now and her birthday. My belly is as big as a basketball and growing by the day. Her kicks are just about every minute.

Matt and I have a lot of decisions to make before she gets here. Like picking a pediatrician, our career choice, selling the house, passing the licensure exam in Feb/Mar and the big one,... what will Amelia's middle name be? I pray and know it will all work out.

Enjoy the latest and greatest of my big fat belly shot at week 29.

Week 24 and Growing

Her name is Amelia, Millie for short. Her heartrate beats at 144 bpm. She's growing every day and on track for a healthy development. She's going to be a kungfu fighter with all the kick practice she's getting. She likes it when I eat sweets so she can go buck-wild in my belly!

We're having a... GIRL!

Surprise, surprise! "Little thumper" is a girl! We found out on Nov 7. I took the entire day off for the dr visit and a little pampering. She was very cooperative during the ultrasound which made her sex very obvious. We were able to see her heart and all the rest of her body. My favorite part was when she looked straight at the camera. She is just so beautiful! It took Matt a minute or two to believe it was a girl but he finally came around. We have the entire thing on video so we'll never forget. After the dr's visit, I headed down to the baby store and started looking around at all the pink! This little one is going to be fun to shop for! We finished the evening at First Wednesday night praising to God that our baby girl is healthy. God is good!
By the way, Matt was able to feel her moving too. Its best felt just before I get out of bed and before I eat anything in the morning. Its pretty dang neato!

Enjoy the ultrasound pics of our little girl!
