It is confirmed! Matt and I just had our 22 week ultrasound this afternoon while Mia watched the kiddos. We are having another BOY which really surprised both of us.
Early on, I thought it was a boy because I thought I saw something at my 14 week OB appointment. But the doc simply ignored me (or maybe did not hear me) when I said "are those boy parts?" So I left the office a little confused. Those ultrasounds are pretty hard to read if you don't know what you're looking at.
So here you are, some photos from this afternoon of our baby BOY!Case in point---last week, which was 21 weeks, I had to go in for a check up on my blood pressure because it had been low. All my levels were normal this time and again the doc took a look at the baby. This time though she said something like, "do you want to know what you're having?" I said, "Yes. We'll find out next week but if you see something and want to tell me go ahead." So my OB said, "It's a girl!" Of course, I started to cry (because I was happy and excited to have a sister for Millie and another shopping partner.) She printed out the ultrasound picture and everything.
This has been a roller coaster ride of boy, girl, boy but either way, the emotion has been the same: ECSTATIC and GRATEFUL for the blessing of another baby!
